Kittens will come home with all their vet documents and health certificates, microchip info, insurance as well as blankets/toys they’ve been playing with here for some familiarity. You will need to bring a carrier on pick-up day
Kittens will be very accustomed to a crazy, busy household, so ideally you can put them in a room with an open door and I’m sure they’ll venture out quickly. If you have another pet, it’s good to have a slow introduction and utilize a baby gate between dogs for safety. They are in a home with multiple dogs and are very familiar with them, but this can give them false confidence with other dogs
We use unscented clay litter and switch between Special Kitty antibacterial unscented from Walmart (they deliver to your door) or Costco litter. As long as it is UNSCENTED. Once home, you should place the kitten in the litter box multiple times a day for the first couple of days, especially after eating. Let them find their way back to you. This is how they learn where the box is located.
Holding your kitten to get them used to being held/ picked up by you is important. Pick up the kitten and hold them until they act calm then put them down. Don’t let them go when they squirm as they need to learn to be held until put down. It makes a much easier adult cat. They will have a bit of fear at first so don’t worry but they should accept it once they are used to you. You can use the scruff to (extra skin on the back of their neck) to hold them if needed.
Currently, the kittens are eating a pre-made raw by Totally Raw (with stores in HRM and Moncton) This product is very cost-efficient and works out to be way cheaper than canned food! Here is the link to the food:

I am part of a program with them that offers all my new kitten owners some free food to get started. I will collect details to get accounts started for this before the kittens go home.
The current routine is a plate of food around 8:30 AM, 1:00 PM, and 5:00 PM. You can change this to fit your lifestyle. For the first year while they are growing, they should get as much food as they want to eat. So, if you start with a few tbsp of food at first, if they eat that all in one sitting, just give a bit more the next time and if they don’t finish feed a bit less. Raw shouldn’t be left out for too long.
